Carte D’Or
Food & Beverage is one of the sectors in which ATC – All Things Communicate has over thirty years of experience, built through work with leading clients such as Sanpellegrino, Levissima and Algida, for whom we have developed food packaging projects, shelf communication and product range restyling.

ATC’s expertise in food communication spans several specialisms, with a particularly long history of collaboration with leading coffee brands. It began with Lavazza, for which Renzo Riccò, founder and CEO of ATC, conceived the legendary Blue Ribbon together with designer Karim Azzabi, creating the unmistakable symbol of the Turin brand’s quality in bars around the world. There is also Segafredo, for which we renewed the Ho.Re.Ca. packaging, turning it into a value driver in the relationship with the channel. And our experience goes beyond Italian excellence: internationally renowned brands we have worked with also include Starbucks, Nescafé, Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Nestlé Professional and Café Royal. For them, we have developed not only food packaging design projects, but also brand positioning, retail activation, space design, trade communication and digital strategy.

Beyond our experience in coffee, our knowledge of both the main drivers and the constraints of food packaging, from sustainability to labelling regulations, has enabled us to operate as a trusted food & beverage agency for confectionery brands such as Lindt and Perugina, as well as for brands from other food categories, including Buitoni and Fumagalli Industria Alimentari. For the latter in particular, we provided two decades of consultancy in food branding, developing the Etichetta Etica concept and several successful product ranges. Our clients also include Eridania, for whom we developed a consumer activation programme across points of sale throughout Italy.
Another ATC success story, brought into the agency through Reverse Innovation, is the long-standing collaboration with brands such as Cornetto, Carte d’Or and Ringo. Here, the ability to combine sustainable innovation, design and brand strategy has resulted over time in outstanding packaging projects, including numerous special and limited editions.
Within F&B, ATC has also worked for years on beverage packaging, with projects that have earned the agency several awards. Among the most significant case studies is the creation of licensed packs for Issima, season after season, featuring some of the cartoon characters most loved by younger consumers across Italy. The Acqua Amata label also bears ATC’s signature. But the agency’s expertise goes well beyond beverage packaging: for clients such as Chinò, Recoaro and Acqua Panna, we have developed point-of-sale consumer activation projects, while for Sanpellegrino we created the international toolkit of retail, Ho.Re.Ca. and digital materials for markets around the world, covering the iconic Sanpellegrino sparkling water, Italian Sparkling Drinks and Ciao! flavoured water.
